This is a 2D game, where the aim is to compete courses in the best time possible, with the highest score. Control is unusual. Your monster truck accelerates automatically, so you have a brake button, a boost button and up and down buttons that allow you to balance your truck in mid air or pull wheelies.
The action is very retro, but done with bright colorful graphics. Animation is basic but smooth, and the sound suits Stunt Car Racing 99 Tracks very well. The control system works well, although sometimes you get the feeling the boos is not very responsive. For casual gameplay, Stunt Car Racing 99 Tracks is great, but it's not a game you'll be playing for much time.
